Ruth M. Weber

Ruth M. (Trout) Weber, 87, of Temple, died September 13th in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Paul E. Weber.

Born in Spring Valley, Muhlenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Jennie A. (Lutz) Trout.

She was employed a number of years in the bookkeeping department at Barbey Electronics, Reading before retiring.

Weber was a 1936 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was a member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ, Hyde Park where she was a former member of church consistory, Choir member for 61 years and a Sunday school teacher for 55 years.

Weber is also survived by a brother, Kenneth Trout of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include two sisters, Naomi (Trout) Chrisman of Elverson and Doris (Trout) Hetrich of Leesport.

Services will be Monday at 10:00 am in Grace Alsace United Church of Christ, 2151 Kutztown Road, Reading, Pa 19605. Viewing Monday one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church at the above address. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
