Ruth M. Ramsey

Ruth M. (Kopsell) Ramsey 89, passed away October 10, 2022, at the St. Francis Home, Shillington.

She was the loving wife of George E. Ramsey.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Paul Kopsell and May (Sunday) Celmer.

Ruth worked at various jobs over the years; but her most rewarding was working as a caregiver with children at her sister-in law's daycare center.

A true fighter with a giant spirit to match Ruth was a dedicated wife, mother and Nana; her friendly personality, caring nature and love of her family will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Donna M., wife of Kevin Galczynski, Reading; four grandchildren: Tyler, husband of Shelby Galczynski ; Griffin Galczynski, companion of Samantha Trostle; Jodi Ramsey and Jennifer Ramsey; and four great-grandchildren: Connor, Peyton, Brycen, and Madilynn.

Ruth was predeceased by her son, Craig A. Stoudt on June 29, 2020.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Francis Home, 144 Hillside Dr, Reading, PA 19607.
