Ruth M. Angstadt

Ruth M. Angstadt, 82 of Lenhartsville died Saturday evening in her residence. She was the widow of Robert E. Angstadt who died November 26, 2010. She was born in Kutztown and was the daughter of the late Paul H. and Harriet L. (Arndt) Miller. Ruth was a 1953 graduate of Kutztown High School where she was the Valedictorian. J.C. Gilardone & Son employed her for 54 years last working as a floor supervisor. Ruth was a member of New Jerusalem Zion U.C.C., Lenhartsville where she taught Sunday school. She was a Girl Scout Leader and a member of Dunkle's Church Cemetery Board. Ruth is survived by a son; Rodney Robert Angstadt, Ormond Beach, Fl., daughters; Rose Ann widow of Robert E. Williams, Fleetwood, Rita Marie wife of Darrell Bohn, West Hamburg, grandchildren; Jeremiah J. husband of Danyelle (Guffy) Angstadt, South Dakota, Bradley R. husband of Aby (DeLay) Williams, Fleetwood, Amber L. wife of Joseph Columbo, Laureldale, Chad D. Bohn and his girlfriend Harley Stamm, Hamburg, and Jenna M. wife of Shane Correll, Hamburg. Ruth is also survived by her great grandsons; Jacob, Ayden, William, Julian, Steven and her siblings; Shirley wife of Ronald Kressley, New Tripoli, Donald husband of Sherry Miller and Mildred wife of Carson Krause, both of Kutztown and Larry husband of Carol Miller, Windsor Township. Her siblings; Wayne, Carl, Earnest and Patricia Miller and a son Roger Lee Angstadt who died in 1955 predeceased Ruth. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28 th at 11:00 a.m. from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., Hamburg, PA. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
