Ruth M. Leiby

Ruth M. Leiby, 91 of Hamburg died October 7, 2017 in the Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg. She was the widow of Mark I. Leiby who died November 16, 2002. Ruth was born in Maidencreek Township and was the daughter of the late Perry A. and Mabel M. (Hamm) Hamm. She was a homemaker most of her life and was a member of the First United Church of Christ. Hamburg. Two daughters survive Ruth, Susan K. Leiby with whom she last resided, Hamburg, Cynthia L. wife of Michael Adams, Hamburg and a son Mark N. husband of Lari Leiby, Hamburg, two grandchildren, Brock M. Adams and Elizabeth C. Leiby. Two sisters, Irene Rohrbach, Mary Jane Nester, and three brothers, Cletus, John and Willard Hamm, predeceased her. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 12 th at 11:00 a.m. from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Church of Christ Building/Handicap Ramp Fund, 76 South Third Street, Hamburg, Pa. 19526.
