Ruth M. Lantz

Ruth Mary Lantz, 81, of Ontelaunee Township, died January 26, 2013 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of James M. Lantz whom she married January 19, 1949.

Born September 21, 1931 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William Enoch and Agnes Rebecca (Graeff) Angstadt.

Ruth was a 1949 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

She was employed as a cafeteria worker with Schuylkill Valley School District for 11 years.

Ruth was very active with the American Cancer Society.

Also surviving are two children: William J., husband of Cheryl A. (Kerber) Lantz of Laureldale and Belinda R., wife of James J. Yucis of Kinzers, Lancaster County.

In addition there are three grandchildren and three great grandchildren also surviving.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
