Ruth D. Krammes

Ruth D. Krammes, 93 formerly of Pinedale and Hamburg died in the Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg on June 1, 2016. She was the widow of Sterling E. Krammes who died December 30, 2000. Ruth was born in Pottsville and was the daughter of the late Guy and Elsie (Drumheller) Walborn. She was a 1940 graduate of Orwigsburg High School and the Ford School of Business, Pottsville. Ruth worked as a bookkeeper for 30 years for Sylray Knitting Mill, Orwigsburg. She was a member of the Auburn Church of God where she taught Sunday school and played the piano for many years. Ruth is survived by her son, Bruce S. husband of Suzanne Krammes, Hamburg, one grandson Peter W. husband of Alexandra Krammes, Auburn, one granddaughter Katelyn A. wife of Michael Hutton, Mahopac, NY and four great grandchildren, Kassidy, Kaylee, William and James.
