Ruth Irene Rothermel

Ruth Irene (Fetter) Rothermel, 84, of Fleetwood, died January 25, 2014 in Keystone Villa at Fleetwood, Maidencreek Township.

She was the wife of Harold R. Rothermel who died May 1, 2005.

Born June 21, 1929 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Edna I. (Lando) Fetter.

Ruth was employed as a sleeve setter with Fleetwood Shirt Factory for 27 years, retiring in 1991.

She attended Trinity Bible Church, Blandon.

Surviving are her two daughters, Pamela A. (Rothermel), wife of James Fister of Cranberry Township; Paulette A. (Rothermel), wife of P. Michael Pollock of Richmond Township.

Other survivors include her brother, LeRoy, husband of Betty J. Fetter of West Reading.

There are also 3 grandsons: Peter M., husband of Abby Pollock, Derek M., husband of Amanda Pollock and Brandon M., husband of Breanne Pollock and 4 great grandchildren: Emily G., Macey A., Braedon W. and Owen M.

Ruth was predeceased by six siblings: Robert Fetter, William Fetter, Richard Fetter, Shirley A. Fetter, Edith J. Fetter and Betty J. Dietrich.

Services will be Friday at 10:00 am in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
