Ruth E. Rapp

Ruth E. (Zieber) Rapp, 95, formerly of Reading, died January 14, 2009 at 10:30 am in Manor Care, West Reading.

Her husband, Robert E. Rapp, died in 1964.

Born in Reading, PA on June 13, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Emma K. (Wallace) Zieber.

She was employed for many years with Narrow Fabric, retiring in 1980.

Ruth is survived by a son Robert Rapp of West Reading.

She is also survived by three sisters: Esther Gabriel, West Lawn; Ina Miller of Florida and Ethel Jefferson of Wyomissing. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews also survive her.

Ruth was predeceased by a brother and four sisters.

Services will be Monday at 1:00 P.M. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave. West Reading. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
