Ruth D. Bryan

Ruth D. Bryan, 76, of Independence Drive, Whitfield, died June 2 in her residence.

She was the wife of Robert L. Bryan.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George and Marie (Shunk) Miller.

Bryan had been employed as a secretary by Polymer Corp., Northmont, until 1958.

She was a 1945 graduate of Reading High School.

Bryan was past president of the Reading chapter of the National Secretaries Association.

She is also survived by a son, Jeffrey R., Ridgewood, N.J., and three granddaughters.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
