Ruth A. Bridegam

Ruth A. (Pfeifer) Bridegam, 93, formerly of Reiffton, died October 21, 2009 in Elmcroft Assisted Living Center.

Her husband, Robert D. Bridegam died July 12, 1995.

Born in Mt. Penn, she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Mary L. (Leber) Pfeifer.

She was a 1934 graduate of Mt. Penn High School.

Ruth was owner and operator of Bee Hive Linen Services for a number of years, retiring in 1969.

She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Penn.

Ruth was treasurer of PA Restaurant Association from 1967-1969.

She is survived by her loving friends, Duane W., husband of Joan Woolworth, and George Rick, all of Reading.

Ruth was predeceased by her brother, J. Leroy Pfeifer on April 8, 1960.

Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
