Ruth H. Ackerson

Ruth H. Ackerson, 81, died February 3, 2010 in St. Joseph's Medical Center.

She was the widow of George F. Ackerson.

Born in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cornelia (Venick) Paxton.

Ruth retired from F.W. Woolworth where she was a sales clerk for 40 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Ruth, wife of Kenneth Cole, Wyomissing; her brothers, Frank and Robert and her sisters, Dorothy, Beverly and Lois. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Stephanie, wife of Jim O'Brien and her grandson, Bryan, husband of Erin Cole.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Laurelgrove Cemetery, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army: P.O.
