Ruth A. Bauknecht

Ruth A. (Walker) Bauknecht, 84, of 4216 10th Avenue, died May 26th at 9:35 pm in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she had been since May 20th.

She was the widow of Harry E. Bauknecht who died May 18, 1989.

Born in Reading, Pa., she was a daughter of Paul E. and Martha C. (Brossman) Walker.

She worked as a telephone operator for 30 years at CNA Insurance Company, Reading until her retirement in 1980.

Bauknecht was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Mount Penn.

Services will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 8:30 am until time of service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
