Russell W. Billman

Russell W. Billman, 60, of Cumru Township, died May 11, 2010 in University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.

Born March 13, 1950 in Reading, he was a son of the late Russell Wilbur and Martha Idela (Miller) Stauffer.

Russell was a 1969 graduate of Exeter High School.

He was employed as a dye mixer with Crompton & Knowles Chemical Company, Gibraltar for 31 years, last working in 2002.

Russell was a member of Alleghenyville Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He was a life member of VFW, Adamstown and a member of Vietnam Veteran's Association.

Surviving are four siblings: Dorothy M. (Billman) DeFazio of Leesport; Lawrence L., husband of Sandra M. (Mogel) Billman of Exeter Township; Helen I. Billman of Shillington and Donald R. Billman of Cumru Township, with whom he last resided.

In addition, there are also several nieces and nephews surviving.

Services will be Saturday at 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mohnsville Cemetery, Mohnton.
