Rudyard Wynn Boyd

Rudyard Wynn Boyd, 83, passed away on December 10, 2021, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Virginia Spang (Boyd). They shared many wonderful years together.

Born in West Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur and Marian (Donmoyer) Boyd. Rudyard graduated Shillington High School, now Governor Mifflin, in the class of 1956. He was employed as a Drafter at Car-Tech for 32 years.

Rudyard served in the Pennsylvania National Guard and was a member of the Freemason Lodge 62.

He is survived by his children, Peter C. Boyd of Springfield, PA, and Andrew S. Boyd (Diane) of West Lawn, PA; his sister, Judy Matz of Shillington, PA; and his brothers, Richard Boyd of Shillington, PA, and David Boyd of Houston, TX.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 11:00-12:30 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave. West Reading, PA 19611. Committal services will be private. Contributions in Rudyard's memory may be offered to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508, or Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, 1700 Hawk Mountain Rd. Kempton, PA 19529.
