Ruby Ngoc Tieu

Ruby Ngoc Tieu, 22, formerly of 145 Lucinda Lane, Spring Township died January 27th at 1:45 p.m. in University Specialty Hospital, Baltimore where she had been since December 24th.

She died as a result of a motor vehicle accident which happened November 5th while traveling on Interstate 95 Southbound in the State of Maryland.

Tieu of 4712 Common Drive #104, Annadale, Va., was a daughter of Nhan and Nga (Pham) Tieu of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

She attended Wilson High School and was a 1998 graduate of Annadale High School.

Tieu was a student at Northern Virginia Community College, Pursuing her degree in Criminal Justice.

She was employed by Verizon for two years as a sales representative last working on November 4th.

Tieu is survived by a brother, Willy Uy Tieu, a student at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Other survivors include her paternal grandmother, Quoi Nguyen of Gainesville, Florida.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 10am until time of service. Burial will be private in Buddhism Association of Pennsylvania, Columbia County.
