Rubie I. Lewis

Rubie Irene (Deitrich) Lewis, 93, formerly of Country Meadow's, died March 14, 2011, in Columbia Cottage, Wyomissing.

Her husband, Richard Lorenz Lewis, died July 16, 1996.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Willis Emanuel and Ellen Irene (Minnich) Deitrich.

She was employed as a beautician by Claffey's Salon, Reading.

Rubie was a member of the Flying Dutchman and Flying Hills Woman's Golf Association.

Rubie is survived by her son William R., husband of Christine Lewis, Valley Center, CA; her daughter, Rev. Linda Lewis Riccardi; two grandchildren, Suzanne E., wife of James Forcucci and Lisa L., wife of Troy J. Woessner and one great-grandson, Joshua James Woessner.

She was predeceased by a brother, Lester C. Deitrich.

A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, with the Rev. Jeffrey C. Stonesifer officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
