Roy C. Moyer

Roy "Sunshine" C. Moyer, 79 of Port Clinton died July 9, 2011 in the Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg. He was the husband of Shirley M. (Witman) Moyer who died March 7, 2005. Roy was born in Port Clinton and was the son of the late Elmer and Helen (Knoblauch) Moyer. He worked at the Hamburg Broom Works for many years retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. John's Church, Port Clinton. He was also a member of the Port Clinton Fire Company and the Goodwill Fire Company, Hyde Park. Roy is survived by two daughters, Donna M. Moyer of Auburn, Carol A. Moyer of Port Clinton, one grandson, Todd Moyer of Schuylkill Haven and one great granddaughter, Aubrey Moyer. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
