Roy B. Epler

Roy B. Epler, 84, of North 13th Street died May 11 at 6:45 a.m. in his residence.

He was the husband of Carmella (Biondo) Epler.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the George B. and Florence (Mohn) Epler.

Epler had been employed for 35 years as an assembler by Birdsboro Steel, retiring in 1980.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Epler was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 411, Birdsboro.

He also is survived by three daughters: Jennie (Epler) Lewars, Sinking Spring; Flora M. (Epler) Kirkley, Birdsboro; and Donna L. (Epler) Edinger, Shillington.

There also are six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
