Rosie Boyer

Rosie Boyer, 76, died Nov. 10 at 6:25 a.m. in her residence in West Reading.

Her husband, Charles J. Boyer, died Oct. 2, 1987.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Justino and Angelina (Sfirri) Donofrio.

Boyer was employed for 15 years as a secretary by Chet Cook Food Broker, Reading, until her retirement. She was also employed as a clerk by the West Reading Drug Store.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Boyer was a 1947 graduate of Reading High School.

She was a past treasurer of the Reading Pagoda Secretaries Club.

Surviving is a son, Brian D., Sound Beach, N.Y.

Other survivors include a brother, Frank Donofrio, Wyomissing; and two sisters, Lucy Donofrio, West Reading, and Mary (Donofrio) Freeman, Reading.

There is also a grandson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
