Rosemary Coldren

Rosemary "June" Coldren, 89, formerly of West Lawn, passed away February 22, 2013 in Berks Heim.

Her husband, Russell Leroy Coldren, died February 23, 1994.

Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Ambrose Earl and Florence (Hollenbach) Gilbert.

She was a proud graduate of Reading High School. She attended night school and graduated in 1980.

Rosemary worked in various knitting mills and handbag companies in the Reading area.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Reading.

Rosemary is survived by her two sons: Russell L. Coldren, Jr., widower of Cheryl A. Coldren, Whitfield and David E., husband of Marlane A. Coldren, Reading. Also surviving are her six grandchildren: Mark Coldren, Rosemary Schlegel, Kelly Coldren, Matt Coldren, Pete Coldren and Jami Fry. Twelve great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter also survive her.

Rosemary was predeceased by her daughter, Celayne Rosiland Coldren and her sister, Arlene (Gilbert) Dwyer.

Services will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 33 S. 11th Street, Reading PA 19602.
