Rosemarie A. Schultz

Rosemarie A. "Pudge" Schultz, 72, died of natural causes Dec. 21 at 8:40 a.m. in her residence in Sinking Spring.

She was the wife of Allen R. Schultz.

Born in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie (Gobrick) Rowley.

Schultz was employed for 15 years as a caseworker by the state Department of Public Welfare, retiring in 1985.

She was a 1948 graduate of West Reading High School.

Schultz was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

She was president of the Women's Golf League at the Village Green Golf Course, Sinking Spring, in 1999 and 2000.

Schultz is also survived by a son, Gary A., Sinking Spring; and a daughter, Robbyn L. (Schultz) Ronco, Robesonia.

Other survivors include a brother, William A. Rowley, Reading; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading.
