RoseMarie Tennerella Kerchner, 92, of Glenside, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Rydal Park Medical Center.

Born in Reading, PA, on April 28, 1921 to Salvatore and Magdaline (Stralo) Tennerella.

She was the wife of Herbert R. Kerchner with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.

RoseMarie was a 1939 graduate of Reading High School.

She actively participated in PEO, Questers, International Thimble Society, Friends of Independence National Historical Park, Jenkintown Women's Exchange and Abington Library.

RoseMarie especially enjoyed spending winters with her husband and close friends in Naples, Florida.

She loved reading and learning about historical Philadelphia.

She will be remembered by her family as thoughtful, caring and loving.

RoseMarie is survived by her three children: Suzanne Charles, Sallyanne Smith, and Ronald Kerchner. Also surviving are her sister, Geraldine (Geri) Tennerella, her nine grandchildren: Christopher, Gina, Natalie, Michael, Eric, Alison, Tara, Brian, and Evan, as well as six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth (Betty) and her brother, Francis.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, 602 West Ave., Jenkintown, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. Interment will be Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Reading. Contributions may be made to Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.) Emergency Loan Fund 3300 Custer Way, Collegeville PA 19426. Make checks payable to P.E.O in care of Nancy Gallagher under memo section write ELF, to further enhance educational and career opportunities for women. Edward J.
