Rosemarie Intelisano

Rosemarie (Clemente) Intelisano, 83, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died April 18, 2013 in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the loving wife of John Intelisano whom she married July 29, 1950.

Born December 21, 1929 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Madeline (Passaro) Clemente.

Along with her husband, she ran Intel's Sandwich Shop, Laureldale for 35 years.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Rosemarie loved to cook and most of all spend time with family.

In addition to her husband, surviving are her four children: Bonita A., widow of Ronald R. Shingle of Muhlenberg Township; John R., husband of Melissa A. Intelisano of Ontelaunee Township; Gary S., husband of Linda G. Intelisano of Alsace Township and Gina M., wife of Randy S. Gilbert of Muhlenberg Township.

In addition, she is survived by her nine grandchildren: Michelle M. Heckman, Dena M. Kraus, Steven R. Shingle; Jenny L. Maurer, Erin M. Stacherski, Michael S. Intelisano, Julie A. Gilbert, Elizabeth K. Simmons and Jeffrey S. Gilbert and seven great grandchildren.

Other survivors include her three sisters: Grace Ziemer, Gloria Klusewitz and Angeline Zieber all of Spring Township.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park. Viewings will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:30 and Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
