Rose Kathryn Romano

Born in Westwood, California, "Kathy" was named for both of her grandmothers. She was the daughter of Martha (Sacuski) Romano and Vincent Romano.

She is survived by her former husband John Mackey, and their daughter Heather Kathryn, wife of Ian Shumard and grandchildren Jackson, Dylan and Kylie.

Her two sisters are Loretta (Romano), wife of John Allen of York, PA, and Charlotte (Romano), wife of Russell Snyder, Reading, PA.

Throughout her battle with cancer, she had the loving support of the North Reading Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She also had the support of the RP Management staff and coworkers at Woodgate Apartments where she was employed as their leasing agent.

Kathy left life in peace at the age of 69 having full confidence in Jesus' promise in John 5:28, 29 to resurrect her.

A memorial service will be held for her Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 7 p.m., at Kingdom Hall, 509 Madison Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
