Rose Mary Rapak

Rose Mary Rapak, 57, of 914 Spring Street, Reading, died August 25th at 10:15 am in St. Joseph Hospital where she had been since July 16th.

She was the companion for 24 years with Peter Haines, Reading.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Walter J. and Anna (Bednar) Rapak.

She was a 1963 graduate of Reading Central Catholic.

Rapak was also a graduate of Reading Business Institute.

She worked for a number of years at Commonwealth Orthopedic as an accountant and personnel assistant, last working March 18th.

Rapak was previously employed for a number of years at Dolan Construction, Reading, in the same capacity.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Rapak is survived by a sister, Joanne E. (Rapak) wife of James P. Cote of Leesport.

Funeral from Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Laureldale, Monday at 9:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 am in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 1018 North 8th Street, Reading, Pa 19604. Viewings Sunday evening 6:30 - 8:30 pm and Monday morning 9:00 - 9:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church's memorial fund at the above address.
