Rose M. Pawelski

Rose M. Pawelski, 98, formerly of Reading, died September 5, 2013, in Berks Heim.

She was the wife of William J. Pawelski who died December 6, 2003.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Julianna (Kozak) Pienta.

She was co-owner/operator of Pawelski Food Market, Reading for 30 years, retiring in 1974.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Rose is survived by four sons, Richard J., husband of Jane Pawelski, Chincoteague, VA, William J., Jr., husband of Mary Pawelski, Powhatan, VA, Gregory D., widower of Ann Pawelski, Wernersville, and Paul J., husband of Debbie Pawelski, Bern Township; eight grandchildren, Lisa, Rick, Natalie, Victoria, Jennylyn, Joseph, Alex and Adam and ten great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Robert B. Pawelski in 1999 and seven siblings, Adam, Joseph, Mary, Antoinette, Emily, Helen and Irene.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated October 10, 2013 at 10 a.m. in St Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
