Rose M. Mulligan, 77, Spring Township, died Nov. 18 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, where she had been a patient since Nov. 10.
She was the wife of Dr. Robert L. Mulligan.
Born in Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Turuta) Glaudel.
Mulligan had been employed as a registered nurse by Reading Hospital, last working in 1958.
She was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.
Mulligan was a 1945 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and a 1950 graduate of the Jefferson Hospital School of Nursing.
She was past president of the Reading Hospital Staff Wives.
Mulligan is also survived by two daughters, Michele M. (Mulligan) Pollock, Brockton, Mass., and Marta M. (Mulligan) Botch, Shillington.
Other survivors include a brother, Dr. Joseph Glaudel, Hackettstown, N.J., and three sisters: Florence (Glaudel) Syslo, Shrewsbury, Mass.; Alice (Glaudel) Kessler, Orleans, Mass.; and Patricia (Glaudel) Aronica, Dunmore, Lackawanna County.
There are also two grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Mulligan, in 1959.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. John Baptist de La Salle Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
