Rose Mays

Rose Mays, 97, of Wyomissing, died August 30, 2008 in the Reading Hospital.

Her husband, Frederick D. Mays, died in November of 1971.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Nunzio and Carmela (Cirella) Carro.

She was a member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Rose is survived by her sister, Anne Carro, with whom she resided and her brother, Salvatore R., husband of Mary K. Carro., Annapolis, MD. She was predeceased by one sister, Mary Azzolina and one brother, Frank Carro.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J.
