Rose E. Jared

Rose E. Jared, 83, of Sinking Spring passed away on November 30th in her residence.

Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Nunzia (Libra) Mirabile.

She was a graduate of West Reading High School.

Rose worked as a Welfare Coordinator for the U.S. Department of Labor for 36 years until her retirement in 1985.

She was a Navy veteran in World War II.

Rose was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading; she was also a former member of St. Ann's R.C. Church in Washington, D.C.

She is survived by two sisters, Anna (Mirabile) Miller, Sinking Spring and Susan (Mirabile) Bender, Bernville, and two nephews and four nieces.

Rose is predeceased by four sisters, Mary (Mirabile) Sanchez, Carmella (Mirabile) Vergot, Sylvia (Mirabile) Bieber, and Jane (Mirabile) Ehrig, and one brother Frederick Mirabile.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Resurrection, Gethsemane Mausoleum. The Entombment will be in the Gethsemane Mausoleum. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. will be in charge of the arrangements. www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
