Rose (Jandrasits) Gleixner, 95, of the St. Joseph Living Center, 2900 Lawn Terrace, died September 27th at 5:45 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center where she had been since Wednesday.
Formerly of 3319 Fulton Street, Laureldale, she was the widow of Michael Gleixner who died April 17, 1992.
Born in Austria, she was a daughter of the late Franz and Maria (Malits) Jandrasits.
She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.
Gleixner is survived by a son, Rev. Joseph M. Gleixner of Youngstown, Ohio, and two daughters; Rose T. (Gleixner) wife of Ted C. Hughes of Deerpark, Maryland and Monica M. (Gleixner) wife of Tim Alfonsi of Salisbury, North Carolina.
Other survivors include six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Viewings Tuesday evening 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday Morning 9:30 - 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, 55 Rothermel Street, Reading, Pa 19605.
