Rose M. Gentile

Rose M. Gentile, 82, formerly of 209 Franklin Street, Reading, died July 25th at 5:15 p.m. in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township where she had been a patient since 12/6/2000.

Gentile of 3040 Elm Road, Muhlenberg Township is the wife of Tommaso F. Gentile.

Born in Hazleton, Pa she was a daughter of Joseph and Mary (Giglotti) Capilo.

Gentile was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She was employed as an examiner for H. Oritsky Clothing Manufacturer, Reading for 20 years until her retirement in 1981.

Gentile is survived by a daughter; Mary E. (Gentile) wife of Steven P. Wolfinger of Muhlenberg Township, and two sons; Thomas D. husband of Phyllis A. Gentile and Ferdinand husband of Karen E. Gentile both of Muhlenberg Township.

She is also survived by a sister; Mildred (Capilo) widow of Richard Ross of Hazleton, Pa.

Other survivors include five grandchildren; Thomas Gentile, Lisa (Gentile) Brown, Michael Gentile, Marisa Gentile and Paul Wolfinger.

There is also a great grandson; Gabriel M. Gentile.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday August 30th at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Viewings will be held Monday Night from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday Morning from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale, Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
