Rose Dissman

Rose Dissman, 100, formerly of Florida, died June 26 at 9:34 p.m. in Country Meadows of Wyomissing, where she had resided since May 1, 1996.

Her husband, Edward Dissman, died in 1982.

Born in Elizabeth, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Margaretha (Pfleuger) Wittmann.

Dissman was the owner-operator of Marshall Motors Lincoln-Mercury, Elizabeth, for 25 years, until her retirement.

She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Toms River, N.J.

Dissman was a past matron of Augusta Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Elizabeth.

Surviving is a sister, Emma (Wittmann) Knapp, Easton.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Graceland Memorial Park Chapel, Kennilworth, N.J. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
