Rose J. Bilak

Rose J. Bilak, 102 of Reading, passed away November 11, 2014 in Berks Heim.

She was the widow of Julius J. Bilak.

Born January 10, 1912 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Sonsini) DeMarte.

Rose worked in the Morgen Hill Knitting Mill.

She was a member of St. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, Reading.

Rose is survived by her brother, Daniel DeMarte, Reading; her step daughter, Ann, wife of Stephen Keenan, Galt, CA, and her four step grandsons and their families. Also surviving are 13 nieces and nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Pat DeMarte and Joseph DeMarte; and her two sisters: Nancy Acker and Catherine DeMarte.

Graveside Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Cyril and Methodius R.C.
