Rose Andrzejewski

Rose Andrzejewski, 91, formerly of Reading, died June 20, 2013, surrounded by her loving family in ManorCare Laureldale, where she had resided since August, 2012.

Her husband, Joseph E. Andrzejewski, died February 28, 2011. They were married 66 years.

Born in Reading on August 10, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Biagio and Anna (DeCearse) Damore.

Rose had worked for many years at the Schofer's Bakery and loved taking care of her granddaughers when they were growing up.

She was an active member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Senior Citizen group.

Surviving are two daughters, Joanne V., widow of Earl R. Heintz, Exeter Township and Janet C. Noll, Temple. Also surviving are her two granddaughters: Dr. Tara, wife of Keith Lawlor and Andrea, wife of John P. George; and her six great-grandchildren, Alex Heintz, Kevin Lawlor, Sadie Lawlor, Peter George, Robert George and Caroline Lawlor.

She was predeceased by her great-granddaughter, Isabella Rose George in 2007. She was also predeceased by her three brother, Joseph, Patrick and Dominic and three sisters, Angeline, Viola and Julia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Catharine's Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
