Rosario Bibbo

Rosario "Charlie" Bibbo, 94 of Spring Township, passed away December 22, 2008 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Carmela M. (Calabria) Bibbo.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Angelina (Tesario) Bibbo.

He was the oldest retiree employed by Luden's Candy Company, Reading as a hard candy maker, retiring 1965.

Rosario was a member of St Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield where he was an usher for over 30 years.

He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Samuel C., husband of Sandra Bibbo, Exeter Township and a daughter, Angela J., wife of Joseph B. Koch, Spring Township.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, Samandra Bibbo; Steven Bibbo; Christopher Koch; Donna Ratajczak, and Robert Koch, and six great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church., 2810 St Albans Dr., Whitfield, PA 19609. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum.
