Rosanne Barbera Schaeffer

Rosanne Barbera Schaeffer, 69, of Reading, died October 15, 2011 in Titusville, Florida.

Her husband, Barry Franklin Schaeffer died November 26, 2006.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wilson and Rose Mary (Barbera) Heck.

Rosanne attended Mt. Penn High School.

She worked at the Bachman Bakery for one year, David Crystal, Laureldale for eight and a half years and also Boscov's Warehouse, Laureldale for five years.

Rosanne was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas F., husband of Christina (Rizzo) Schaeffer, SC; Todd A. Schaeffer, Linwood; two daughters, Tonette M. Schaeffer, FL and Theresa A. Schaeffer, Wyomissing.

Rosanne is also survived by seven grandchildren: Thomas F. Schittler, Muhlenberg Township; Timothy R. Schittler, Muhlenberg Township; Tiedra M. Schittler, FL; Rebecca R. (Schaeffer) Bryant, Washington State; Samantha J. (Schaeffer) Ready, SC; Stacey Schaeffer, Germany; Benjamin Schaeffer, Germany and five great grandchildren: Maxx Black, Temple; Mia R. Schittler, Temple; Bella Schittler, Temple; Creighton Ready, SC and Faith Nicole Bryant, Washington State.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
