Rosalie M. Kirkpatrick

Rosalie M. Kirkpatrick, 81, of Wyomissing, died February 22, 2010 in the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was the wife of Thomas D. Kirkpatrick.

Born in Wheeling, WV, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Iva (Fowler) Francis.

Rosalie was a graduate of Altoona High School and business school in NY, NY.

She was employed as an administrator by the Department of Defense, Contract Management Agency, Reading for over 25 years, retiring in 1992.

Rosalie was an accomplished bridge player, achieving life master status. She was a member of the American Contract Bridge League.

She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Reading.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children: Timothy J., husband of Jeanette Kirkpatrick, Sinking Spring; Janet L, wife of Dean Heller, Stuart, FL and Karen A., wife of John Schmoyer, Wyomissing. Also surviving is her sister, Virginia McLean, Green Valley, AZ. There are eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also surviving.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R. C. Church, West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane. Friends may call Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Memorial Fund: P. O.
