Rosalie Ann Rodgers, 83, of Hamburg, passed away November 4, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital.
She was the widow of Albert Rodgers.
Born at home in St Clair PA on September 27, 1938, she was a daughter of the late George and Wanda (Konopka) Yanek.
Rosalie was a 1956 graduate of St. Clair High School.
She was employed by the Schuylkill Valley School District and BCIU as a teaching assistant.
Family and faith were always paramount to Rosalie; she was a member of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church and a very active member in the Women's Guild; always willing to serve anyone in need.
She enjoyed quilting, reading, line dancing and jigsaw puzzles.
Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Sharon Rodgers, Baltimore, MD and her son, Scott Rodgers, companion of Lauren White, Philadelphia PA; and with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Walter Yanek and George B. Yanek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 8, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 94 Walnut Rd, Hamburg, PA 19526 followed by a light lunch. A visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary's R.C. Church, at the above address or a charity of your choice. Burkey and Driscoll Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be recorded at www.burkeydriscoll.com.
