Rosalee Marie Shober, 60 of Sinking Spring died July 9, 2008 at 11:02 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, where she had been a patient since June 27th.
She was the wife of R. Brian Shober to whom she would have been married for 25 years, on October 29, 2008.
Born September 30, 1947, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of John Fedak of Wyomissing and the late Marie Elena (Weiner) Fedak who died October 12, 2006.
Rosalee was a 1965 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.
She was employed by American Bank, Reading where she was an Administrative Assistant for 9 years. Most recently she was employed by Muhlenberg High School as a clerical assistant for ten years, retiring in 2001.
Rosalee enjoyed reading, knitting, going to the beach and wintering in Bradenton, Florida, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are two children: Heather Lee (Bowman), wife of Yves J.G. Deiss of Whitehall and a son Matthew Stephen Bowman of Sinking Spring. There are also two step-children, Sharon L. (Shober), wife of Steve Rogers of Shrewsbury, PA and Susan D. (Shober), wife of David Rohall of Michigan.
In addition there is one sister, Debra (Fedak) Barnshaw of Reading.
There are also seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, with Sister Judy A. Filorimo officiating. A visitation will be held a half hour prior to services.
