Ronald J. Zygmunt, 55, formerly of Laureldale, died of natural causes July 19 at 9:45 p.m. in his residence on Seagull Court, Florissant, Mo.
He was the husband of Kathleen L. (Weaver) Zygmunt.
Born in West Reading, he was a son of Ethel (Hinnershitz) Zygmunt, a resident at Berks Heim, and the late Joseph Zygmunt.
Zygmunt was employed for the past 25 years as a chemist by Sigma-Aldrich Corp., St. Louis.
He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Zygmunt was a member of First Unitarian Church, Alton, Ill.
He was a 1965 graduate of Muhlenburg High School and a 1969 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Annville. He received a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
Zygmunt is also survived by two sons, Aaron J., Chicago, Ill., and Adam M., Bowling Green, Ohio; and a daughter, Valeska J. (Zygmunt) Tanner, Woodbury, Minn.
Other surviviors include a brother, Gerald, Laureldale; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Saturday August 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in Calvery Lutheran Church, Laureldale. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
