Ronald R. Wanner

Ronald R. Wanner, 65, Wyomissing, died Dec. 13 at 10:05 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Dec. 9.

He was the husband of Sharon D. (Clewell) Wanner.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Roy and Esther (Ludwig) Wanner.

Wanner had been employed for 18 years as a payroll supervisor by Crompton & Knowles, retiring in 1989. He last worked as a courier for Allentown Cement, Evansville, Maidencreek Township.

He was a member of First Church of the Brethren, Wyomissing, where he was a member of the board since 2002.

Wanner was a 1957 graduate of Exeter High School.

He was a former assistant Cub Scout master with Pack 473, West Lawn.

Wanner is also survived by a son, Craig B., Sinking Spring, and a daughter, Heather J. Wanner, St. Lawrence.

Memorial services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in First Church of the Brethren. Private burial will be in Spies (Zion) Cemetery, Alsace Township. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
