Ronald E. Sweigart

Ronald E. Sweigart, 78, of Reinholds, passed away on February 8, 2023 at Jefferson Abington Hospital after a long and well fought battle with heart disease.

Born in Denver, PA he was the son of the late Stephen C. and Marian (Bonsall) Sweigart. He was one of eight siblings.

Beloved husband, father and Pop, he will be remembered lovingly by his wife, Mary (Endler) Sweigart and children, Ronald (Tammy) Sweigart and Amy (Ernie) Willson, and grandchildren Nicholas, Jack, and Emily Willson, and Patrick Sweigart.

A devoted grandfather, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.

Some of his favorite times were spent at the beach with family, and his daily candy runs for licorice and powdered donuts, cheering at soccer games, picnics at the pool with family, playing gin and Skip-bo, casino trips with his brother, playing the penalty game, countless adventures with his grandchildren, and holding baby John.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
