Ronald "Ron" Snyder

Ronald “Ron” Snyder, 79, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026 at Fairlane Gardens, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Daisy (Gochnour) Snyder. They celebrated 56 years of marriage in September.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Clarence and Ethel (Weitzel) Snyder. Ron graduated from Wilson High School, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Phillies. Ron was a handyman, constantly doing projects around the house, electrical work, and working on model train sets. He cherished spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Daisy, Ron’s memory will be cherished by his daughter, Noël Snyder Bao, wife of Jason; and his granddaughters, Emma Bao and Ellie Bao. Ron is predeceased by his sister in law, Mary Ruth Devlin.

Ron will be laid to rest privately in Pleasant View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Ron’s honor to the Parkinson's Foundation at https://www.parkinson.org/.
