Ronald F. Scott, Sr., 75, of West Reading, died August 12 in Spruce Manor.
He was the husband of Sheila (Geiger) Scott.
Born in New Haven, CT, he was the son of the late Herbert I. and Margaret (Carrignan) Scott.
Ronald was formerly employed as a cook for the Exeter Restaurant and retired from the West Reading Diner.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War.
Other survivors include two sons, Ronald F., Jr., York and Bryan A., Whitfield and one daughter Dawn (Scott) Tarbotton, Hudson, NH.
There are also three brothers, Glenn Scott, Wally Scott, and Mallory Scott and five sisters Jacqueline Buzeleski, Carolyn Corbit, Barbara Deeter, Lynne Pointek and Zenda Showers. Nine grandchildren also survive him.
He was predeceased by one brother Herbert Scott, Jr.
Services will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Mohns Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Lung Association 2121 City Line Road Bethelehem, PA 18017.
