Ronald L. Reitnauer

Ronald Lee Reitnauer, 78, died January 15, 2013 in his Laureldale Borough residence.

He was the husband of Patricia Ann (Hill) Reitnauer, whom he married April 8, 1961.

Born in the Reading Hospital on February 14, 1934, he was a son of the late Franklin and Bessie (Bendigo) Reitnauer.

He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.

Ronald was employed 25 years as an operating engineer with Western Electric, Muhlenberg Township, retiring in 1991.

He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and having breakfast with his family and friends.

Ronald also enjoyed his Thursday Night Card Club and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

He is also survived by his three children: Ronda A., wife of Robert Neff of Oley; Kathleen M., wife of Kevin R. Siegfried of Wyomissing and Kim M., wife of Steve S. Behm of Reading.

Other survivors include two brothers: Charles W., husband of Florence Reitnauer of Alsace Township and Franklin, husband of Carmela Reitnaer of Laurel, Delaware.

There is also a brother-in-law, Edward A. (Shirley) Herbst and two sister-in-laws: Linda J. Herbst and Sandra J. (Larry) Rausch surviving.

Six grandchildren: Troy S., husband of Susan (Readinger) Behm, Shaun M. Behm, Jamie M. Keiser, Michael R., husband of Jayme (Walb) Neff, Stacy L. Seigfried and Samantha L. Neff, companion of Jason Rhoads and three great grandchildren: Paige M. Behm, Jordan T. Behm and Zoe B. Behm also survive him.

He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Mallory Jane Siegfried, who died July 10, 2005.

Memorial Services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
