Ronald E. Knepp

Ronald E. Knepp, 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 11, 2024, at his residence. He was the devoted husband of Fay (Kennedy) Knepp. They married in 1955 and shared 69 years together.

Born at home at Sycamore Farms, Union Township, PA, he was the son of the late Palmer and Edna (Wagner) Knepp. Ronald graduated from Exeter High School and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Ronald began working for Bell Telephone Company as a line repair technician, and eventually worked his way to teletype repairman before retiring in 1984. He was an amateur machinist and train enthusiast, with an interest in steam engines and railroad cars. He loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Fay, those left to treasure his memory are his children: Ronald Knepp, Jr. (Dawn), Rick Knepp (Betty), and Randy Knepp (Sheila), eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Ronald is predeceased by a daughter Diane, who died in infancy; and his brothers Carl Knepp and Marvin "Barney" Knepp.
