Ronald Kenwood Jost

Ronald Kenwood Jost, 71, passed away December 12, 2013 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born December 25, 1941 in Reading he was the son of the late Donald Frederick and Elva Alberta (Hamilton) Jost.

Ronald was a graduate of Pottstown High School.

He was a driver for the Kem Corporation for many years, retiring in 2006.

Ronald was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid car racing fan and went to many drag races. He also liked dancing.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Ronald is survived by his two sons: Robert K., husband of Joyce Jost, Fleetwood; and Ryan K., husband of Julie Jost, Norristown. Also surviving are his sisters: Sydne, wife of Richard Romig, Pottstown; and Elsa Jost, Douglassville. Five grandchildren also survive him.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 423 Main St., Oley. A viewing will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
