Ronald E. Hurst

Ronald Elmer Hurst, 76, died May 5, 2010 in his Temple residence.

He was the husband of Mary Lou (Bare) Hurst whom he married February 21, 1953.

Born March 3, 1934 in Reading, he was a son of the late John Benjamin and Ruth M. (Hartranft) Hurst.

Ronald was employed as a warehouse manager with Reading Coca-Cola from 1972 until 1996.

Surviving are two sons, John M. Hurst, with whom he resided and Terry R., husband of Julie (Siggins) Hurst of Temple.

In addition, there is a brother, Rodney J., husband of Lynne (Spatz) Hurst of Hyde Park.

Other survivors include four grandchildren, Stephanie M. Negri, Bradley J. Hurst, Ryan P. Hurst and Megan E. Wolfinger and four great grandchildren, Alexis B. Hurst, Logan M. Negri, Dominic B. Hurst and Haylee R. Negri.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
