Ronald D. Fisher

Ronald D. Fisher, Sr., 76, passed away November 16, 2012 in his West Reading residence.

He was the husband of Joyce (Holdeman) Fisher, whom he married 58 years ago on September 18, 1954.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Lester W. and Candace (Graul) Fisher.

He was the owner of All Safe Electrical Inspections for 20 years, retiring in 2006. He had also been a constable for 24 years and a deputy sheriff for 6 years.

Ron was one of the founders of the Reading Buccaneers, established in 1957.

He was a PA National Guard member.

Ron was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children: Ronald D. Fisher, Jr., husband of Valerie Fisher, Muhlenberg Township; William G., husband of Audrey Fisher, Reading and Diane C., wife of Jeffrey Harris, Wernersville. Also surviving is his sister, Barbara G., wife of Thomas H. MCMichael, Bowmansville. Seven grandchildren: Shannon, Benjamin, Ryder, Hillary, Brittany, Shawn and Ronnie and seven great grandchildren also survive him.

A Memorial Service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church, 336 Franklin St., West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
