Ronald E. Christman

Ronald E. Christman, 69 of Reading died June 7 at 6:45 PM in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg where he had been since May 27, 2005.

His wife Darlene L. (Wissler) Christman died April 5, 1992.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late George, Sr. and Esther Christman.

He was employed by Stroehmann Bakery, (formerly Maier's Bakery) Reading for 33 years until his retirement in 2003.

Christman was a lifetime member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters for his 44 years of service.

He is survived by one son, Glenn B. Christman, Cumberland, MD and one step daughter, Sharon M. Shuman, Wyomissing. He is also survived by one brother George S. Christman, Jr., Vienna, VA and 3 grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 11 AM in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial in Mohnsville Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday 10 to 11 AM.
